PAYMENT

CREDIT CARD SECURITY

We use PayPal, one of the world's largest card processing agents, to process debit and credit card orders. Your details are securely encrypted at all times and only your address details remain on our server. We can’t see any of your card details. You can also check this is secure by looking for the padlock icon on your internet browser. Paypal logo

Using PayPal is easy, if you already have an account then you have the choice to sign in - if you don't have an account then you are able to pay directly using a credit/debit card without having to sign up for an account.

We use PayPal for your peace of mind and security.

POSTAGE

Postage quoted is for postage within the UK. International postage may be more. Please contact us for international rates. 

The final invoice can be altered to reflect postage discounts and check-out. If an overpayment has been made, a refund via PayPal willbe issued. 

After buying items please wait for revised invoice with the discount to be sent before making payment.

DISPATCH

  • We aim to process and dispatch all orders within 5 working days following cleared payment. 
  • We use Royal Mail to send out all our orders and so can provide worldwide delivery. 
  • Royal Mail aim to deliver more than 90% of first class mail by the next working day within the UK but this cannot be guaranteed. 
  • Delivery times for the rest of the world are as follows and are sent by Airmail:  Europe 2-6 working days, Rest of the world 4-10 working days.
  • Whilst we aim to deliver within the time limits specified above, please allow 21 working days for all orders to be delivered.
  • Certificate of postage will always be obtained.
  • We will not be held responsible for items arriving late due to services out of our control, i.e. postal strikes. No responsibility can be taken if items are delayed, lost or damaged by Royal Mail.

RETURNS

Our returns policy is simple.

If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, i.e. the item you have ordered is faulty, defective or you’ve had a change of heart you must return it to us unused in perfect, re-saleable condition including product packaging with all tags intact, instructions, etc, otherwise we will not be able to refund you.

Within 7 working days of receipt, send an email to contact@mumsthewordmaternity.co.uk with your name and address, order number, product details and an explanation of why you want to return the item. We will then get back to you with return address details. Alternatively return address details can be found on the dispatch details enclosed with your order.

Please return the product within 7 working days of receipt for a prompt replacement, exchange or refund.

Our delivery charge in your original order is not refundable if an item is being returned. Delivery charges incurred in sending items back to us are non refundable unless the item is proven to be faulty.

We cannot be held responsible for return packages lost in transit. As you are responsible for returning the item(s) to us we recommend sending the package by recorded/special delivery and insured up to the value of the item(s).

Tights and thongs cannot be returned for hygiene reasons.

Swimwear: The HYGIENE STRIP MUST BE INTACT – a refund will not be given if there is any sign that the hygiene strip has been removed. All refunds will be made via PayPal.

SUBMITTING INFORMATION

PERSONAL INFORMATION & DELIVERY ADDRESS

By submitting your order you are confirming to buy the goods at the prices and the terms stated and are allowing us to use your details for the purpose of dispatching the goods including, passing your details onto our nominated carriers and other third party subcontractors. We will not use your details for any other purpose without your prior consent.

Goods will be dispatched to the address registered linked to your PayPal account. You must therefore ensure that all your details are correctly registered with PayPal before submitting payment, including email address, full postal address and payment details. By submitting your order you are accepting the shipping and handling costs.

If for any reason you or any person at the delivery address refuses to accept the delivery of the products, all risk in the products shall pass to you and we may, at our discretion charge for return of the products to us, a storage fee and a redelivery fee to another address nominated by you.

Our website contains links to other websites which are not controlled or maintained by us. These links are provided for your convenience only and we are not responsible for the content of those sites.

We may change or withdraw any part of our website or may refuse you access to the website at any time if we consider it necessary.

If we discover an error in pricing of the goods in your order, we will inform you as soon as possible using the contact details you supply us, and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you within seven days we will cancel the order. In the event of an order being cancelled any payment made for the goods will be refunding in full.

All products are available while stocks last. If we are unable to supply the particular item that you have ordered we will notify you as soon as we can after receiving your order. Sometimes stock may be withdrawn or discontinued. We shall make every effort to update the website at all times, but you understand and acknowledge that we are not liable to you for any failure or delay to fulfil an order due to products being out of stock, withdrawn or discontinued.
